"Kar
Bhala, Hoga Bhala" - In Service Since 1919
Sarva Vidhyalya Kelavani Mandal, Kadi was established in 1919 A.D. by the social
reformer and patron of education venerable Shri Chhaganlal Pitambardas Patel,
popularly known as "Chhaganbha". Initially, it was established as the hostel for
students. "Do good, Good will be done to you (Kar Bhala Hoga Bhala)" was the
guiding sprit of the institution. Since last 89 years, this institute has
revolutionized the society by continuously providing very effective education.
Committed to the cause of service for the nation, this institute has expanded
its scope, in step to the need of the time, up to Gandhinagar. The institute,
since 1993, has added many colleges at Kadi and Gandhinagar campuses due to
"dynamic and devoted" Chairman Shri Maneklal M Patel, popularly known as
"Saheb". Renowned Industrialist and technocrat Shri Narsinhbhai K. Patel, as the
Chairman of the Higher Education, is providing leadership in the development of
various professional faculties. The secretaries of the Mandal and others are
also devoting their valuable time for the growth of the institutes. To ensure
that in the "opportunity era" of Information Technology, the students of Kadi
and its neighborhood area need not go to other parts of Gujarat or outside
Gujarat to build up their professional careers, BCA program was started in year
2000 and with that new initiative was taken to provide higher education in the
fields of computer and management. With the approval of the AICTE, MCA and MBA
programs are also being offered at the Campus since 2001 and 2002 respectively,
last to start was BBA program at Kadi from June 2003. The institutions offering
program in BCA, BBA and PGDCA are affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat
University, Patan and MCA and MBA are affiliated to Gujarat Technological
University, Ahmedabad. Sarva Vidyalaya Kelevani Mandal has at present at its
Kadi and Gandhinagar Campuses about 40,000 students enrolled for various
programs. Such a phenomenal growth of repute has actually given these
institutions a place of pride among the institutions.
